People take so many screenshots within the game, but other never see them, I myself have started posting up pictures within my profile for people to see what i get up to..hehe.(note to self: maybe i should train more) anyway, what i'm suggesting is a picture of the week or a message board where people can upload pictures. or even a competitions page, with comps like, best screen shot, most adored JAT, etc _______________ .Lag Bro to Xanatos. what about that "loged in at the moment" stuff? so you can se who's browsing with ya?
FAQs may need some updates too... more questions. *smiles at JJ* and a files section would be nice... not just a link to JKii.net. like for example students could upload stuff and a files-manager-guy goes through the stuff proposed and select what actually comes up. so you could submit demos/screenshots very easy. last not least a profile-pic submitter  _______________ Aeth S'kray *June 2002 +September 2003 |

i got an idea.
we really need a more extensive troubleshooting section in the FAQ. people have been asking the same gawd dang questions on the forums for too long. errors such as the bad inline model or something like that are very common and easily fixed, so why not just stick 'em in the FAQ. Can't we create a list of the 10 newest students or added the last 2 days to the ja on the about us page?? So every1 can welcome them to the ja.

A new student had the cool idea of class difficulty levels. Like a this is a beginners class or intermediate or advanced class.. I kinda like that. Falcon: I'm sorry guy, but right now I'm keep ing my code close to me. Besides you don't want to have to intrepret all this php. Forum idea: You should be able to read previous comments while typing your new one. It's a lot easier to quote and respond to long posts that way.

some other ideas just popped up A poll would be nice, i can make one if you'd like..
Also, to be able to see if a certain user is online on ICQ, which doesnt need any scripting at all, since you can get it straight from the ICQ website. With some scripting, this could also be used to see which academy users are currently online a nice table or something. edit: Yay another idea pops up! (The things boredom can do to a person )
A shoutbox would be nice, since i dont have irc at school *damn those sysadmins*. I could provide a script for this if needed. I think i have a basic shoutbox at home somewhere, and i could try to extend it so that only members can post on it. For the ones that dont have a clue what a "shoutbox" is: It's kinda the same as a forum, but this is only one form, on the side of the webpage, where members can post short messages, to talk to eachother when they are on the website. Ill see if i can come up with a link, where you can see *and test* a working example. edit#2: Just remembered http://www.deviantart.com have a shoutbox. I think the site is awesome and I wouldn't mind if it didn't change one bit. It would be great to search for the author of a post. I would use that to find my own posts mostly but it would be very helpful because every time I go looking for a post I wrote to see if some one has responded I end up not finding it and just posting in a new thread that some one has started and then I can't find that one later...Sorry I know that is a run-on sentence.

pop ups, banner ads this sites not bad.Ill tell you what is bad Hotmail.I hate it i hate it i hate.And among many of the things i hate about it i hate the fact that it squeezes as many ads into the padge as humanly posible.
I prefer yahoo. But its a neccesery evil as all my mates use it an i need to have an address to instant msg chat with them.[but i dont have to see it unless i got mail as i got trilian!!!!!!] But this is besides the pont the point is ads aren't too bad on this site _______________ The real question is not whether machines think but whether men do. how about, in the profile pages, you can see if, and where, that person is playing? like, i'm playing as [ks]. someone goes to my profile because they want to contact me (though i can't figure out why someone would want to :\) and they see i'm playing at ks, to they join and talk to me ? maybe? a word search at jedilive possibley? _______________ Well then. Black Stallion: The ads and popups are required to be hosted by jkii.net, so I think of it as a necessary evil since jkii.net gives us great exposure. My advice is switch to mozilla.
