Hello all!!! Well this is it. The first jk3 saber tournament! I hope you all will enjoy this. Ok the first 64 people to sign up here will participate in the tournament. This is for STUDENTS only since the admin is having their own tournament. Just simply post "sign me up". If for some reason we dont get enough students then I may include admin. This will be strictly a saber tournament to see who the best student saberist is. There will be a prize to the winner. I will discuss that with the winner. The duels will be best 3 of 5 to start and best 4 of 7 for the semi finals and finals. So thats it for now. Sign up and when I get 64 students I will ramdonly draw the brackets out of a hat as I did for my tournament last August. Good luck to all. Everyone please have fun with this.  BTW, this tournament will take place for the entire month of April. You must find the person you are dueling and meet up with them. The time is up to you. It starts April 1st. Here are the brackets. Good luck all. I would like all the first round duels done by 4/4/04. You may start them now. That will give you plenty of time until April 4th. Master Viper(7) ***WINNER*** Round one!! Alrighty, per request of the students, Guterbni and I will hold our match tomorrow, Thursday April 22nd at 5pm Eastern, 4pm Central, 10pm GMT on the JA Home server. I wanted to take this time to make a polite request for myself and all the other quarterfinalists as well. More then likely matches will take place within the "Matrix" rooms. I'm not sure how many are affected by this, but I'm sure you've seen, that when you go in and out of doors, or use elevators, the FPS can be affected for other users. All I ask is that when a match is stated to start, and you'd like to watch, please try to be early so as to prevent the "Doors Opening" situation from happening. It would be good if the day/times the duels where to take place were posted on ths thread so ppl could watch, now we are at the Qtr Final stage. I had the pleasure of spectating o the YY v DM TIT2 final. ALso a demo was created and posted so all could see how the match went. I think it makes it more of an occasion. Luke refereed the match between YY and me. i got lucky to pull out a 3-1 win. they were incredibly close duels, in the first two duels each kill shot i happened to land i was in a hit or die situation. then YY cranked a big one on me to make it 2-1. i knew i had to pull it out then, no way i want to be 2-2 against her mad staff skillz, that girl can kill way too fast. i luckily ended there in the fourth duel to make it 3-1. it was an honor Miss YinYang. she probably would have won if she wasn't so tired. _______________ this is the internet, be serious damn it! |
