The need for friday/saturday night trials.

A lot of us have school, work, or other personal stuff going on during the week. Why make trials during a day where someone has important issues to deal with the day later?

I'm not speaking for myself just because I had to skip my Jman trial due to the fact that I had to wait so long, buti'm speaking for a lot of us. There's a huge lack of trials, and on top of that, little to none during the weekends. I don't think I'm talking gibberish if I say most of us can trial during nightime, at whatever hour, during the weekend. Making them during the week is just sick. It's either too early, or too late. Mostly at the instructor's leisure. I don't mind waiting, but when the wait is endless and weekend trials are rare and scarsely (sp?) once every week, I can't bear with it.

Can't we just sack trials during the week and make them during the weekend? Or better, make people send some kind of message coupled with the best suited time zone for all the people present? I don't want to force the academy to do it, but I don't think I'm speaking for myself only.

I understand you guys are trying to squeeze some in during the weekend, but during a stressful day of work or a school exam, I don't feel I should leak in that extra ammount of work 7 hours before I do my daily routine again. Adress the issue a little more strictly?

PS. Anyone feel the same?(*cough*not you jat's and jak's :P*cough*)

I get ur point, but I just wont even think of using my PC friday/saturday nights when I can go out instead (basically every weekend).
and Sunday to sleep until 4 (oh wait, I do that whenever I feel like it :P) is sometimes very, very nice.

I must admit, though, that this is a problem, when you are a pupil or so, but then, again, read the Patience post by Ulic Belouve, that covers similar issues.

Thanks, didn't know you could do that.

Oh and buzz vader, of course i need trials. Without them I can't expand my knowledge. A lot of classes require you to be a jman or knight to know the stuff I'm here for. I've been playing since the game came out, and only stopped for a month or 2. You don't even have a slight clue oh how many hours I had to endure of bootcamp I didn't really need. I'm not blaming the system, nothing's perfect, and I don't think the thing can be corrected. But i need trials so I can advance. I'm not here to learn a red downhack forever :P

Right. Once you've filled out your exam (or not for the Learners) all you need to do is ask a JAT for a trial. Work with them to get a good time.

you know you don't actually need a class to get a trial if you can get the trainers to give you one.

The point of the academy is to learn, not get your trial in so you can be a higher rank. Y
