how many straight lines are needed to draw through all the dots in a 3 by 3 grid (including a dot in the centre), without taking the pen off the paper There are 5 apples in a basket I take 2 away,how many apples have I got ? David Duck the detective who lives in the USA has an important phone call, he is asked to asisst in an investigation to track down the elusive killer Eric eel in the UK that has got all the local detectives stumped. He agrees and his flight is arranged for the next day. He has all his luggage with him and is about to board the flight when Andrew Apple his Assistant comes running up. "Whatever you do , DO NOT get on the plane !" "I just had a terrible draem, You got on the plane and some where mid flight the egin explodes in a gigantic ball of flame and every body on the plane dies !" David ignores him and gets on the plane anyway. He has a perfectly safe trip and arrives safly in the UK. It's because female emperor penguins lay the egg, and then leave. The male is the one who actually keeps the egg warm, usually until it hatches. I think it's somewhere in the neighborhood of around 9 weeks, maybe. By the time the female gets back to actually take care of the baby pengy, the male has lost most of his body weight because...surprise surprise...he couldn't go out looking for food! That's where the mother was this whole time, she was out stuffin' her beak full of fish.
