In case no one noticed "The Clones Wars" the epic microseries has started its second season, on the cartoon network. Tonight they played all 10 of the 1st season episodes (with out the "what happened last time" and "next time" segemets) So it was a 1/2 block then they newest episoded aired. I heard a rumor this will be on DVD as either one or two parts, so at most there will be one interuption on the DVD, but there is only DVD being released and it is a "Special Edition" ( not that I see how it can be a special edition DVD if there is no regular edition, but wtf do I know ) so it will supposdily be different than the one seen on TV some how. _______________ Silent Bob (Kevin Smith): You know, there's a million fine looking women in the world, dude. hehe yeah, i saw episode 11-20 with my little brother, they were really cool. that grievous, man, he's really good  i know that jedi that got stepped on by grievous died, and i'm pretty sure the bear like guy died too. i'm not sure about shaak ti or ki-adi. but the whole fight with anakin and the dark side woman was sweet too, nice saber fighting  these clone wars cartoons were definitely something that i enjoyed watching |

SPOILER!!!!!!! Sort of I won't reveal too much. From what I've read on episode 3 spoilers about general greivous, at least one of the jedi in that group he did kill definitely and uses one of their lightsabers in Ep3. Nah. I'll watch it again (I downloaded all of them), but it looks like Shaak Ti was pushed away from the blade, like a Force Push or something. I wouln't be surprised if Ki Adi Mundi gave her a bit of a shove to keep her from being cut in two, and to get her to safety. But, we can keep our eyes open to the books (I think something like Boba Fett: A New Threat), as well as Republic Commando. You'll run into Grievous in Republic Commando, this fall. But overall, very nice end indeed. I'll be impressed if you see Grievous do the same thing onscreen as you saw in Chapter 20. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. Ki-Adi was still alive at the end of Chapter 20, but it looked like Shaak Ti was killed by General Grievous. |

So I just finished watching EP 20. My thoughts are that the "Clone Wars" shorts were short sighted. There is already far to much cool shit to go into EP 3, without introducing a new character. I think if the people who made the clone wars should have made a whole season of real .5 hour cartoons, to air once every week. Start it in Septeber ( this coming Sept ) and then run it until May 2005 when the movie comes out. Chapter 18 has a pretty sweet Saber Fight. Yeah. And it ends in a pretty cool fashion again, but I want to see the rest of it in 19 or 20. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. I think the animation rules, the chacters are all just charactures(sp) of the actors. Which is fitting because the action and force powers used are basically charactures(sp) of the action and force power in the movies. Besides what was Padme to most star wars geeks any, some pretty surrounding to a nice pair of boobs. Yeah, some of the characters bug me also. Padme mostly. And there were some poses by Mace Windu that just made him look dumb. But then again, I guess this was just a test run for an animated series again. From what I heard, if this goes well, they will do a larger series. If you listen to the commentary on what they wanted to do with these, they really didn't have the effort to really draw things too detailed. They just had to go with the basic features. So they did. Some turned out more than others. Like they focused on Padme's eyes, I guess. That's one thing that is OK in theory, but it doesn't look as good on screen. But if Padme is really the only character they drew a bit off, then I'm fine with it. They did a great job overall. And I want more action figures (heh). ARC troopers are cool, and I want Kenobi in that clone armor too. That's sweet. Plus a V-17 Starfighter would be tight too. Ah well. And chapter 20 will be double-length, from what they say in the latest Insider. Greivous will also be able to wield lightsabers, have un uncanny flexibility through disjointing stuff, use caipoera moves, and really hand a lot of people their own ass. Oh, and as for the other discission on Grievous, about how it'll suck to have Jedi beaten by a droid....Grievous is only part droid, part human. Hrm....have we seen Jedi beaten by a part-droid enemy before? I'm thinking Vader here. Plus, in original drawings, they were using the eyes from Darth Maul as Greivous' eyes. But Lucas said no to that. Woulda been sweet, though. But Chapter 20 can't come soon enough. actually, Episode III can't come fast enough. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. I found a place to download the episoded the same night that they come out. You can find them HERE So, enjoy those. I like having them downloaded, and then listening to some of them through my Quicktime Player with 5.1 sound. Loud. Mmmmmm. And yes. Mace Windu is the Shiznit. And also, in Chapter 20, the last one, General Grievous will be revealed. He will be a key player in Episode III, and his first appearance will be in Chapter 20.
