Last thursday I finally had the courage to step down as a JAT. Many of you know that this is something I have though of for a long time. The JA has changed alot. I don't feel at home here the way I used to. I don't enjoy doing my classes anymore. Well might as well throw in my JA story. I joined the academy 26th of July 2002. Shortly after getting my account activated, I joined the server. Yes, at that time we only had 1 server. That was DJ's Server. Among the first people I met here were, aValon, JumpinJedi, Aayla Secura and many more. During that first week, avalon announced that he was going to take on a padawan. One of the first things I thought was that I wouldnt be chosen. Still one week later, aValon had a class. Though I wasn't enrolled, he asked me to participate. After the class ended he wanted to speak to me. We went to the triple glass room (From the first academy map). There he asked me to become his padawan, I immidiatly accepted ofcourse. Though aValon was going to move about 2 weeks after that, I trained alot during these times. After 2.5 months he was finally back, we trained and we trained. He then said I was ready, about a week passed before I did my JAT trial with Silent Whisper. Ofcourse like many I was enormously nervous, well I passed the trial otherwise I wouldnt be stepping down ofcourse, hehe. I took on my first padawan, Krusaeder. We trained alot together and it made me proud seeing him progress. When he was ready, I took on my second padawan. This was on July 26th, my 365th day at the JA. This padawan was Jaina. I was amazed by how fast she picked up things from training. She was ready just after JK3 was released. As time passed I took on three more padawans, Rei, Angel and Aiden. Now at this very moment, Angel has finished her training a while ago. Rei couldnt afford the internet anymore. And Aiden is still under my wing. I plan on playing more with the clan I'm in. (JLG) (Jedi Legion) I'll probally be on the forums and on IRC, just not that much on the servers anymore. That is all, I've just got one last wish, don't doubt my decision. P.S If I left something out of my JA story, tough luck  |

For a large part I am, I'll only join or read the forums and servers when I really feel like it. At this time I have lost all hope for me ever getting some real skill in jk3. I've tried to make a new style. I simply can't, I hang onto my jk2 style... It's frustrating me everytime I lose to someone. I get mad and everything, now I know I was good in jk2. I've just realised that there's completely no hope for me in jk3 anymore. I'm just the "average" player. And it's hard for me to accept such a thing. My old friend, it seems like just yesterday we were talking about this..back when i first met jaiko and that whole d'kana incident happened. I admire your courage for you what have done and what you have left. You did a great job and won't easily be forgotten by the people you have taught I am sure. Gl in the future eclipse! u were one of the first people to help me out in the academy and i won't forget your kindness . It is unfortunate that you don't feel the same way about the academy as you did before. Whether your feelings will change remains to be seen, so visit the servers sometimes will ya |
