| Body Parts - Getting chopped off! | |

Right, I was fighting an NPC in the NPC room when I saw it chopped into pieces. It happened everytime i was in there today. I eventually returned to the server and dueled someone. My head came off. I asked them if the same happened, but they said no, I was seeing things or something. I asked people to kill me (when I had sabers out), but they never saw me chopped into bits with hands chopped off and everything. I eventually beat one of them and took a picture for proof. It has only started happening today and I HAVE NOT downloaded any mods or put in any cammands which I don't know what they do. I have visited only the academy's servers in the past week. No one has used my PC because it's MINE. Well, I'll forget about it. But it's definatly weird. Some of my binds were fine, others were screwed, but yet I have not downloaded anything. --End-- |

There is not something wrong with the program, these special effects you are experiencing are just an adjustable setting in the game. You might have enabled it by accident in the options menu, or maybe you have downloaded and installed someone elses config, which had the setting already enabled. |

I don't know what happened but DEFINATLY did NOT type that cammand as I didn't know what it did. |

The command /cg_dismember 3000 enables realistic saber damage, like your experiencing, body parts being cut off. So perhaps you typed it in your console when someone said it on the server, or something. And on another notice, if you want more fun when you kill someone or get killed, typ /broadsword 1 in console. That enables the ragdoll effect which makes your body and other bodies fall more realistic. Though I find it only funny and not very realistic  |
