It was previously thought that these cards (the 9600, 9600Pro and 9600XT) would not work with JK:JA. However, I have found out how to get them to work - albeit at a low graphics setting. Go to your start menu program group and run JK3 in SAFE MODE (there are links for MP and SP). When in, you will be presented with default settings. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING in the regular 'Video' catagory, however the 'More Video' catagory can be changed at will (as can any other sections). You can then play the game normally. HOWEVER, all your settings will be lost on exit, so you will have to re-do them. But if you are desparate (like I'm not, I don't have JK3 installed anymore), this will be a welcome solution for you  Let me know how you get on with it _______________ Website |

3 things.... If anyone says they're going to buy a p4 i will flip....INTEL ARE SCUM! DONT LISTEN TO THEY'RE SALES PITCH...BUY AMD...trust me i own a computer company second...DONT BUY ANY ATI CARDS WITH SE ON THE END...though Ati are sooooo much better than Nvidia, their Se cards are actually factory rejects where half the chip is disabled work...unless you know how to unlock it, DONT BUY IT and 3rd... I have similar specs to JamesF1, with a GeCube Radeon 9600XT 256MB () and i can run the game at all settings no problems. Maybe it's your operating system? I have WinXP Home SP2 if it's any indicator? edit - have you got the latest drivers installed, that usually helps too _______________ A wizard did it. Well, the game just quits for me whenever I try to run it normally (as opposed to Safe Mode). And there's nothing wrong with my RAM (1024mb DDR PC3200), CPU (P4, 2.8ghz) or Mobo (MSI). _______________ Website |

I have a 9600 card and I cant play... But its been confirmed that the card isn't the problem. I couldn't actualy run any games with that comp.
