That's right, it's Queensday today, all Dutchies: happy koninginnedag  This is our national day, celebrating the birthday of the late queen-mother. I know it's strange, i guess it will be changed to Kingsday when the crownprince takes over. This is the day when you're supposed to wear the national colour orange and go out on the streets to sell your old and broken stuff, and buy new old and broken stuff. This is the day people switch the contents of their attics and basements. The Royal family visits two cities (have you seen them Kenyon) and we enjoy the crap we bought for one day and stuff it in the basement the next day. Oranje Boven! Yeah, freakin crowded in Eindhoven aswell lol. Very hot in midday, but in the evening it started raining and thunder and all, that sucked :\ |

Yeah, twas damn crowded here in Leeuwarden. The people that were gonna sell crap already were there around 2am. I went to the city around 4 pm, hardly could get anywhere. |
