Hey Academy players! I have something I want to say in the Academy. I've been in the Academy for some time now and I've seen that many people fight with singel saber, red stance! OK, I don't got anything against it but I think it's annoying that everyone uses red all the time! I mean, if you can master red stance it's good, but what about the two others? Only real Jedis can handel all three stances like most people handel red. I just want to make people notice that there are actualy two other stances and not only red! You guys should realy try use yellow and blue stance more. Good luck, good training!!!  _______________ Standing alone in the dark... only the light of my saber can show me the way now... what has happend to the others? I Don't know... what's that?! I sense a desturbance in the Force... |

err i use every stance there is with single saber,been doing it for like a year and a half now. EDIT: always keep moving,always keep your apponent in view and mix up the duels,mix up the stances. dont let your apponent know what your next move is! roll jump weave hop slash! _______________ Free Tibet! Sounds like somone is getting beaten by red stance users a lot and isn't happy :/. Still, i agree that I hate it when people just use the same swing over and over and over so you can't touch them. Still, what you gonna do?  |

I always cahnge to match the opponent or what has happened. If he starts with yellow and I know he is a good duelist I will go yellow too, if he changes to red I do the same. If we start of with yelooow and he gets a huge powerful hit on on my and im somthing like 40< I will cahnge to red and pray I git him : _______________ I was a child when I joined the JA...scary. |

I fight Single, Red. Blue is useless except for Lunge and Yellow I use some times, for the scissors mostly. |

I find that medium and fast styles only work "well" against other single sabers in JA (jk2 WHOLE different story =D). Now, against duel or staff, it's more random than anything. For example if I was using yellow against a duel saberist and we both did our swings, I may get lucky and get a few hits in, then if we did the same exact swings on eachother with around the same timing as before, I could get hits or I could get hit hard by their counters (which for the most part are so random it's pathetic). So it is my opinion that using yellow and blue against another single saber is alright, but using them against staff or duel is just way to random for me. I guess I'll just stick to red against everything but single unless I know that I can use yellow effectivly against a staff/duel saber user. mah 2 cents... While it is best that everyone should have some knowledge of all stances and weapons, this is only a game and games are meant to be funnnn. Play how ya like no matter what your style is. but it will only help ya to try to learn new things. |

Well.. to be honest, it used to be yellow stance that everyone used... now it's red. I think it's because red is easier to break down and analyze.. but hell, I don't know, I just use the same swings over and over. I'm pretty social about how I play JKA.. to me, JKA is at best, a great big, violent chat room! |

"Real" Jedi's don't need anything to make them real. A style is a style. It cna almost be said for any style my friend, that it's used this way too much, or its cheap or its a noobish, or it pwns or anything. Those are all excuses. I cannot vote because I use all sabers and all stances. I started using duals for a long time, I used staff for a long time, now I use all of them. (As well as every stance!) |
