the sad thing is i can ping the website (22.8 ms average) about 10ms faster than i can the game server (34 ms average). crazy that i can go to texas faster than i can go north 180 miles (assuming that the website is hosted in texas, i could be recalling that incorrectly). i'd be curious about the results of a traceroute (probably fewer hops for me to texas), but with all the firewalls these days you never get any results  _______________ this is the internet, be serious damn it!
