this is a very bad idea, becourse alot of people can get mad 1) they dint won 2) they get annoyed of the people that win and starts showing off 3) people get jealous so i dont think this is a good idea, sorry. |

I think this is kinda good idea, but only for us who know this is just made for laughs and is unofficial.. The problems will appear when new people join to the JA and they automaticly get the wrong idea of it by just scrolling through the forums.. otherwise this is all good.. Official or unofficial I will not endorse this. And I belive most of the JAK+ would agree with me. This is just a way to single out the more "high profile" members of the academy. The academy tries not to promote anything which would elevate any students above others, although they aren't official, this coul be seen as a rank or plainly 'someone being abetter than someone else' Thankyou p.s. Well I wasn't implying that anyone take it real seriously. I don't expect anyone to take my little list seriously...its more to make folks smile than anything. Just saying if he feels like he wants to recognize someone, nothing stopping him from doing it. However if we involve the whole Academy in it, then yes...it does become a 'popularity' contest. Though it can be argued that those who are 'popular' are usually fine examples of what a JA student should be. How many 'popular' people here do you consider bad students? I think the folks who are popular stand out for good reasons, not bad. But more than anything this would be a big hassle to put together...and the JAK+ are busy enough as it is - so don't expect anything making the idea official. If there are people in the Academy that you want to point out for being great members then by all means do so! You don't need to jump through a bunch of hoops to do it.
