Time to get reading boy! First of all make sure ya got the rules down. Then go check out the Holocron and pay attention to the parts concerning master/padawan relationships and ranks. It's also worth your while to read through this topic as well as Looking for a Padawan. Try to avoid just randomly asking Knights if you can be their padawan. This is never successful. Most people go 1-3 months before becoming a padawan - and you don't even need to be one to advance your skill in the game (Although it does help). One Knight is quoted saying: Quote: Those seeking a padawanship - get to know me and what I like, I kinda want someone who's not only wanting to learn more about Jedi Knight but about anything in real life. look at my interests, my style and talk to me a few times before asking if you can be.. This is most likely the attitude of every Knight, so heed these words. You want to be a padawan with someone you feel like you know, respect, and can learn from....not just somone with JAK beside their name.
