I've been away from the academy for quite awhile (since jedi outcast), so I don't expect anyone to remember me  You could as well think of me as a new member! Anyway, I added both jk3 home and classes to my favorites, but all I can see is it's IP number. I tried really hard to find solution (I've read on server comments that Scorch had that problem too), but no luck so far. Hope someone could help me on this one. It's good to be back, and I hope well meet on servers soon! |

Pathfinder is actually called 'JK2Pathfinder' but it works just as well with JK3 - just select your JA MP exe instead of your JO MP exe...  _______________ Website |

For some reasons, I sometimes get those problems of servers not showing in the server browser. but here's what I do: -Change your filters to see favorites, full and empty as well -Hit refresh -Set your filters so full and empty servers dont show up. I disabled fireewall temporary and same thing happened. And I'm not behind a proxy. I have direct adsl connection (not using any hubs or routers)via USB modem. I had many servers on favorites and I never had such a problem. |

OK, shortcuts don't work, it's just awaiting connection forever. I tried earlier 'all seeing eye' but same thing happened. Guess I could try this pathfinder too... Thank you guys anyway! |

Look in JK3 discussion for Perry's thread, concerning the shortcuts. Concerning the 1.011 - that's the dedicated server tool. And Set, have you tried hitting refresh a couple of times if it shows up as IPs? Works for me often enough. |

Well, when I used JK3 - I frequently had this problem. The answer? Use the shortcut command lines to connect, or use an external program such as Pathfinder. Never had any problems with the latter methods _______________ Website |

Well, I'm even farther than England. Central Europe... But before in JO I was able to connect even with dial-up. |

I get this a lot and find it VERY annoying. The ports are right, yet I still see Ip's sometimes and have to run to the classes page and click un-enroll.  I believe this is a PING problem. If my ping is up to 300, I will NEVER be able to get onto it. I live in england and those servers are all the way in the USA. It depends where you live. (How far away you are from the server) |

I checked those ports and IP hundred times :-) And I have 1,01 patch for JA and on server page here states that server uses 1,011. What's with that? I couldn't find any other patch besides 1,01... |

Welcome back! One of the problems that I faced when I first got online and had the same problem with only the IP address showing......did you download and update the JKA 1.0 patch?
