(This powst is manly for students) you need to get to know them,chat with them and have FUN together on the game or even chating!Getting to know someone is good and your master?Even better yet.Once you know the person that will be your master,ask them if they would be your master. I am just a student and I think I'm doing fine. Excactly, these set of comments explain it correctly. Still, if you really need a master, get to know them like thedestroyer said. It's not going to be fun training with someone you hardly know! |

mmm, on some points im stronger and good enough to be without a master, but on some points i do need one. and its true, you dont need a master to go up in rank. |

I was so new to the game that I sort out a master to help give me more specific lessons as I don't play weekends when most classes are. Also being a SW geek I liked the idea. At the time i never used iRC or MSN but would get on the servers as often as possible and check out the looking for Padawan Thread. But please people don't get on the servers and stand around asking for a master over and iover and over again it gets annoying. Ask JAK+ via PM once then let them think about it. If they don't get back to you is wasn't meant to be! What Odan said is very true. Everyone JAS upwards will offer advice training and tips when your on the JA servers so you will not necessarily learn any quicker if you have a master. The best thing for people is to sign up and attend classes in areas they want to improve in. The thing is you don't need a master Many students are skilled enough to teach a lot of useful stuff and many are ready and willing to teach on a simple request. Getting a master is more about sharing a friendship than training. Of course having a master grants you the privilege of having private lessons which are a great way to improve your skills.
