I've toured quite a few already. Whenever they join a server they are likely to get shown around. Also, there is a class for this. :P But I guess not everyone can make that class. :D

P.S. I agree with Tido.

/me shines his new tour operator badge

Well I think any student is qualified to give a tour of our Academy. When you come here as a JAS - confused, unsure of where to go, what to do - you are greeted by other students enthusiastic about your enrollment. They are more than willing to start your first step in the learning process here: a tour of the map.

At least this is how it was for me. On my first day two now good friends of mine were so kind as to stop what they were doing to help me. They gave me a tour and then they even explained to me how classes and other matters worked.

Their hospitality is the reason I'm still here. Otherwise I probably would have left the Academy just a few days after finding it. I'm sure for many of you your first hours here were very similar. When you are out in the servers, don't forget what other students have done for you, and repay the favor. Keep observant to the arrival of new students. Take a little bit of responsibility for that new student. Show him around, help him out, and keep your eye on him. Basically adopt this new student until he is on his feet and knows how things work around here.

One day that student will remember how you looked out for him, and he'll do the same for another.

So everyone shine up your tour operator badges. We all will be taking a shift :).

yeah, and me and Monkaiman actually made a demo of one of the servers, which shows all rooms (except the ones we couldn't reach:P) and explains a bit about the rules of Vladarion's Garden and such.

Monkai sent it to the JAC's, I believe, but as far as I know, they never got back to us... I think ...

? This is pretty unneccersary don't you think ?
Almost every time a newbie joins the server almost everyone asks if they would like a tour of the map. I know I do at least.

Thoughtful tho guys :)
