Can't connect

I went to crank up the game, as I do40,367 times a day, and when I went to my favorites page to connect to a server, there are no names in there, just the IP's, it's as if the game is acting like I am not online. How do I overcome this? I uninstalled, re-installed, rebooted 30 times, etc. Anyone? Please, I want to cry!! lol!

HA! A very tried and true epic tale of good and evil! er....uh......well anyways, it's good to have you back. Does that mean the OCM is in full effect again? Will we be seeing more appearances of the duel wielding Doran on the JA Home? Stay Tuned True-Believers!

Here's the beauty of it...from start to finish...

1.) AOL freezes, booted off...
2.) Reboot whole 'puter
3.) reconnect to the net, and try JA
4.) No servers.
5.) It is then that I freaked. I started to shake, and broke into a cold sweat.
6.) I figured it was a glitch, so I gave it a day.
7.) Nothing...the cold sweat was befriended by the fetal position, and lots of whimpering.
8.) Uninstalled and reinstalled Jedi. Still nothing.
9.) Scoured the net for help, now using a third party, as I could only hold one of my 3 Master Replica sabers and wish it would ignite so I may use it on myself.
10.) After a couple more un/re-installs, I gave up for a couple weeks.
11.) Tonight, out of the blue, I decide to try it, and IT WORKED. No magic fix, just the beauty of computers being completely psycho. I can hear it now...

I had the same problem recently. Everything seemed fine but I couldn't see academy servers. After a HDD failure I had to install windows and everything else again. And out of a blue, I can connect to JA servers!!!
I still don't understand what was the problem, but maybe you can try repairing windows. That doesn't take too long...

get Adaware from Lavasoft get it here (the link that says from download.com) and look for viruses, trojans, etc. that may have f-ed up your computer somehow.

i have no idea if this will make any difference though, but it sounds like you need to try just about anything right about now :D good luck man!

hmm...in your connection are you using a router? Something that would regulate what ports can have traffic?

It has to be a connection issue. I use AOL DSL, and have for a couple years. I also have Bond: Nightstrike, and that will not connect. I DL'd Gamespy, and it will not show servers...AOL has been no help (big surprise)! I am getting the shakes, people!! lol

First of all,
you start up your game
and there you go to 'Join Game'
and under Favorites you click 'Add favorite'
In the new box you enter the entire IP from the server (this should look like this:
192.168.0.117:28070 (the numbers will be different)) and you click Add Favorite (I think)
and after this you click 'Get New List'
You should see the server appearing

Once you have it appeared, press the button Password
and enter the correct password
and then double click the server to join.Just wait a moment to make the map load up.

Retake all these steps to add all servers.
