Well if u just using textures u need to make a sky shader. if you want to do it easier just get a prog called terregan, there was a tutorial for it somewhere. _______________ ...... |

Am I missing something??? If not, you should never use big box around your level for skybox. In places where you want sky to be seen just put a brush and apply sky shader on it, it will always look like it's on the same distance, so it doesn't matter where you put it. |

sky: make sure the sky is high enough from your player, so it seems far away when you have placed the textures press s and then 'Fit' this will stretch it, and make sure no repeating occurs How to make an elevator: First you put an elevator where you want the elevator to end up So, if it is an elevator that has to go up, you put the brush where it should end up Then you press N, and you select: Func_Elevator Then you enter the key: Wait and the value 2 (it's what I always use) Then you enter: height <number> And this usually is a bit complicated You copy your brush and put it exactly beneath your elevator, and stress it down (or up) until you come to the location where you want the elevator to start Then, in the 2d view, you press Q and you'll see values appear near your lines of the brush. Use the height number (it's at the side) and enter this height in the properties window of the func_elevator next: DELETE your brush you used to find the correct height I hope I've helped ya Oh btw, there is a mapping class you know It's taught by me and Urded, check it out it's called 'mapping for beginners' _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website!
