I really REALLY dislike coding a lot of error messages for users who are too lazy to properly type a BBcode tag. Sure, it's only a one slash difference; and that is actually the same reason why they should not say "Boo hoo, there is no error message explaining it", but instead double check what they type. As for the stretching "bug": This is not a bug. Tables stretch if they contain words longer than the width property of the table, or the max width it should be. We could break off extremely long words at a certain length, like the words in the articles sidebar, but that would only cause new layout problems... |

ok, I just noticed that you can use the [email][email] BBCode without getting an error message when you do it wrong I'll just test all the others, to see if they do the same [b]bold[b] [i]italic[i] [u]underlined[u] [Url=http://www.dontclickhere.com]Don't Click on this link[url] [email]this is my email[email] [email=myemail]my email[email] [*quote]this is a quote[*quote] Edit: I just got why this is so... I'm sorry, nvm Edit2: I can no longer add this comment. Now it does notice the quote error. That's why I've added the stars to the quote part Edit3: I get that if you want to quote within a quote, that [*quote][*quote] can be used, so this shouldn't be the error. But bold in bold, or italic in italic would be kind of ridiculous too... so, an error message for the b, i and u codes would be nice Also a link in a link... seems a bit weird, and is impossible I think also, a second e-mail in an e-mail line is also impossible so this would be kind of ridiculous too This probably is way hard to code, I think ... but if it could be done, it would be cool just a suggestion though _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! The tool for looking for old Threads Cmad posted a link on one thread but is there any where else it can be found? If not can it be put at the top of each Thread listing.
