The driver who struck Vlad was in fact under the influence of alcohol. It says that clearly in the post on his profile in the first letter from his wife. And nobody is showing disrespect at all, I don't see where you're getting that from Talion. I just read this article, because I am a newbie and I wanted to know more about Vlad. Something I feel I should say that, if you are ever tempted, or even consider drinking and driving, please think of others and of Vlad and dont do it. I have seen the effects of drinking and driving first hand because of being a fireman and I'm sure O'lin has as well because of him being a police officer. I understood it was a tragedy at first that someone important in the academy died, but really never grasped who he really was. From the articles you guys made it sound like the holy spirit flowed through him, and I am confident to say that was most likely true. Also I understand and respect the monument made ot him, and even tough I never met him I already get the feeling of his humblesness (Reminds me alot of my cousin Rob, although Rob was never the video game kind of person) that he would most likely say that the monument was not necessary. Now I am not arguing if it is or should be there, im just saying what kind of impression I am getting of who this person was. I know from the way you talk about him, that his ideals were good and true and I do not doubt the inner struggle with in him self (I have inner struggles which only God knows about and hold ideals much like Vlad, of course I do not express them as well or hold them up as well for I am still learning and am still not the same person and will most likely never be as good as Vlad was.) Hi Guys, I can understand why this is not made permanent because I for one normally ignore the permanent posts unless I have a reason to go there. I dont mind bumping this every so often (it gives me a small role in the JA and also helps me fulfill a promise I made after reading the article). But also, I personally feel that the way the JA treats Vlad and especially with the way the article was written shows immediately that the JA is not just some other gaming community that is cold and heartless. It shows the new members RL respect and with it comes some level of responsibility. I hope I dont offend anyone for doing this and I hope that people understand that my intentions are truly honourable.
