Hey me agian, I in my personal opinion think that we should RP on the severs more often, just for fun of course. Also, the rp i've done here is alot diff than what I did when i was with JEO (those were my dark side times  ). They acually pick a role and play it out with a story line. its pretty fun cuz you can throw ur own twist in at any time. Any way, I just think that its a fun thing to do and since the entire point of video games is to have fun and educate children (thank you Vin Desel in XXX for pointing that out), it should just be considerd. back in hte jk2 days we used to RP heaps.. I even have a few demo's made in jk2 of little scenes we did .. was so much fun .. if you like I'll post up links of the files but you have to have jk2 to watch them.. _______________ .Lag Bro to Xanatos. Yeah, I think it should be awesome. Because in fact, what we need to do RP is simply a strong atmosphere. So when we all play a different role in the SW universe, the universe will be really strong. I was on an RP sever for a good amout of time the other day, and I noticed something. Each person had a Role, and they just played it out. There was no main story line, they just interacted and well, DRAMA unfolded! lol. I got mugged 3 times! but it's ok i got two of em back ! I feel that if we do start a weekly RP session this would be the easyest and smoothest way to run it Thank you, and good night _______________ It's funny how many people know they have the right to remain silent, yet never do. |

Don't bump threads unless you have something new to add to the discussion. People have given their opinions and are aware of the thread. I always thought there'd be just as much coolness in RPing in JK3 as there is in SWG. I mean, when you roleplay like that, you become more intertwined with your character because his skills are as good as you are at fighting. Plus, the whole intricate detail with the duels and such is BEGGING for a storyline to fight about... _______________ "It's over Anakin! This high ground adds +5 to my agility!" "HAX!" |

I dunno y its fun, it just is! lol! plus I write short storys for another site that i visit often and most of my story ideas come from good rps ive done on JK3. lol i know corney, but were all starwars geeks here so u cant look down on me! lol. and that would be great man if you could do that for us. Great post Italian Ice! I'd love to join in an oldfashioned bit of role playing. Its games like this that make it more than a mere gathering of XPs like "real" RPGs. Perhaps the best way to do this is get an RPG class rolling again? No-one's stopping you from having RP sessions on the servers, as long as everyone on it agrees. If there's one person that doesn't agree you can't RP (AFAIK)... So if you want RP sessions just ask in the server; though I somewhat doubt that the times everyone agrees will be many. _______________ Your friends of today, are your enemies of tomorrow. |
