I figure I should pipe in here... 
We disallowed kissing because it was getting mad abused on the servers. Some female students (and males in female skin) were getting constantly followed and kissed. Not only did this make them uncomfortable, but it interfered with their training. I take that kind of stuff quite seriously. I could just make it another rule to not overuse the amkiss function. I'd much rather leave it so ppl can't use it all and cut off all avenues for abuse. There's no way to refuse an amkiss, like in real life. It's a fun function true and it's funny to see mon mothma kiss chewie, but trust me.. its better like this. Go /amkiss wookies on the pubs. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

Sared, when you say disable emotes during “combat” are you talking about saber challenge? Like engaged duels? Or any combat? I don't think kissing before a duel would work for me and here is why: I have a level three black belt in making out in real life. I take offence at things in my real life being used in a video game. I agree, kissing should be brought back. Besides, once you think about it, you could theoretically use a lot of different am's pretty cheaply in combat. I never used amkiss so I don't know if I'd miss it. I don't think there's anything wrong with it if a bunch of people are just hanging out. During a duel is a different story.

I've been wondering about that too, ioshee. Is it really that difficult to get people disciplined/removed from JA if they're acting ridiculous? I've noticed several times on KS the past couple days that we've had some...issues. Just ask Kalheka.

well.... if kissing is to be let back in, then I'd like to see attackbutton being pressed rendering the 'kisser' a slap (or just dying immediately). If this can be done, I suppose the 'cheatkissing' as well as the nuisance kissing will end rather quickly, while it still makes it possible for you to kiss ass, fizz.
/Pepsi PS. I'd like to see the command 'amfelch' being implemented though. That way you can REAALLY suck up, fizz.
