I would like to start an Academy wide Wampa Raceing league! A few of us were raceing in the observation deck of the fort, and it was great! These are the Rules ive thought of so far: 1.Teams consist of 3 PPl (races are run in a Relay format, when one lap is finished the rider jumps off and teh next person jumps on. This is much harder than it sounds!) 2.Each Team gets a color and only that team may have that color (Blue is takein for my team: Blue Ice) 3.Races are 3 Laps 4.No wepons I'll add to teh rules as i get Ideas I feel this would be great for the academy fun wise and I would love this to turn into a school sport! lol. the idea of the teams is like teh academy CTF team. you have to be accepted, you cant just join. Ok, thats all im done  *Edit* Virt said he might make a map for us! This is awsome! FYI, I'm in the process of trying to get a class set up, not just for wampa racing but for swoops too. Oh, and how could I forget tauntauns? I wrote up a little class description the other night after we stayed up until three in the morning racing on the observation deck. I know everybody's gung ho about wampas because swoop races are never as close, but the reason swoop races are never close is that we suck at them. We just haven't had enough practice, so what happens is almost everyone crashes and burns, and the (usually sole) survivor crosses the finish line alone. Okay, that's not as exciting as our win-by-a-nose wampa races, but if we practice and get good at it I think the swoop races might actually turn out to be more exciting than wampas. Oh, the other problem we had the other night was trying to get people to stop using weapons during swoop races, as if completing the course alive weren't hard enough.  Solve those problems, and I think swoop racing will be a hit.I'm trying to get a racing (again, not just wampas) class scheduled for 10:00 p.m. (U.S. Eastern Time) Friday nights. I have already said that we should have a snow course wiht grand stands and such, but let me mind you. I dont want anything in the map that can kill the wampas, like spikes that pop up or mines everywhere. we want a fair, fun, race map. _______________ It's funny how many people know they have the right to remain silent, yet never do. |

I had a fun time tonight with ice, Javaguy and the rest that were there racing.
