Are you sure it would be the optimal strategy to destroy your opponents? The first night we did swoop/wampa races, weapons were used in the first few races, and it was quite lame, IMO. Each race was twenty seconds of FFA combat, followed by the survivor racing around the track alone. Some race. People often think weapons in a race would be cool because it would be like the scene in Grease where the drag racer has huge blades come out of his wheels and shred the other car. In that instance, weapon use was just kind of an interesting twist to the race, but it was sill a race, and most of the action still focused on racing. But in practice, if weapons are allowed, then the optimal strategy is to forget about racing and concentrate on killing one's opponents. If you want to do vehicle FFA, do vehicle FFA. I like racing. Of course, ramming is permissible (since it happens all the time accidently anyway)... Anyone interested in racing can join the Observation Deck 500, whether you want to be in a league or not. We do wampa, swoop and tauntaun. My personal favorite is swoop. We do relay races too. _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |

Ok, a few things Why no weapons? Part of the fun is chopping ya mates in half as you go riding by ! Good map ! Don't edit the wampa npc, its fine how it is . Speed boosts on the track is a great idea. Keep the slipperyness but make the map look like a sort of slippery/icey/snowy cave thing. That would better suit wampas anyway . i could edit the npc of wampa to allow speed boosts plus my new map will have speed boost areas so try and get in them.
