Hi guys and gal's  This comes as much as a suprise for you as it does for me. ... well, it will probably suprise you more. I apologize for everything I am about to write, and the fact that my retirement comes so sudden. I've been going through some really positive Real Life(TM) changes lately, both physically as mentally. I feel "different" in a way. I don't think I can give this much time to the Academy, nor the whole "internet thing" anymore. I want to focuss on things that are more important to me. Thanks for the awesome times I had. I've gotten to know some awesome people, which I am really grateful for. Thank you, you all know who you are. Quote: I won't make this too long. I will shut down all the IRC bots soon too. Sorry  Edit: JAbot will keep running for as long as possible. It is pretty self sufficient, I guess. Anyway, don't think too much of all this. The Academy will easily manage without me, as long as everyone just really wants to make it happen. Well...I was hoping. It's going to be strange around here from now on...I'll miss hanging around on the servers hoping you'll show up I really did enjoy our training sessions. Basically, all the bots (JAbot, Statz0r) are pieces of instable-coded junk. Sure, they seem to work on the outside, but they both give dozens of problems. I thought of improving the code and then leaving it running, but I changed my mind really. I really reaaally don't feel like working on them anymore. Do with the bots and the code what you (DJ) wish. Feel free to throw it away, or give it to anyone who you think can put it to some use. JAbot is still running for now, but I won't look after it anymore. The statbots require too much maintainence, and besides, the code was way in development, and unstable as hell. |
