No... We're not going to insult each other here... that's what the Crazy Forum is for...:P

Now, what I want you people to do (in other words: please help me out:P) is to think of a name for the new program I have written, which can be used for New Members, and also to just the regular members like all of us...

It can perform the following stuff:

The Welcome Message Generator has been left out.

The Answering machine can answer stuff like: "Where's the server?" and "How do I bind to key?" and so much more
Quite handy for new members?

It can store 1000 (that's right, a thousand!) of your favourite links alongside a short description

It can store 1000 (yes, again, a thousand!) of your engagements, like classes you have to attend, meeting up with the girlfriend, and stuff like that.

It also contains the Jedi Academy Banners made in the Logo contest (with approval of the makers, of course)

Now, because I lack a certain thing called 'originality' I'm wondering if you can think of a name for this nifty little gizmo!

After this week, I'll pick out the 5 or 6 best ones, and open a poll...

Aight?

Get to the name-calling people!:D

Oh right, before you all call me a show-off...
I started this to practice for my VB-programming exam... and decided to expand it and put it to real use too...

To be utterly honest, I don't like the idea of a program that sends welcome messages.

A welcome message is exactly what the word says: A person should be SINCERERELY welcomed. That can not be done with the push of a button, in my honest opinion.

I like your idea, but explaining all the academy stuff could be done in a post, the holocron, the welcome email, or whatsever. Posting a welcome message that is not even written for the person itself personally just ruins the idea, for me anyway :)

He's right...
It is because of this, I have decided not to release the Welcome Message Generator part of my program.
Now my program only has three functions
- The Answering Machine
- The Link Book
- The Jedi-Academy Diary

Thank you for your attention

yes...

it also stores your own welcome messages... makes it very easy to print them out to new members,
and it's an answering machine to stuff like: "Where is the server?" or "I can't connect" or "the password is wrong!" and stuff like that :P

for a very small example, I have left one on the new member's profiles:)

Okay, I now have a nice setup too:D

Everything seems to work fine (besides some new features, but those aren't in yet :P)

Now I've got a question

I want to add the Setup, the .Cab file, the Setup.lst and the Support folder to one .zip

Now the problem is, I can't add the folder for some reason.

Anyone have an idea for me?

(I am using Winzip)

Okay, I'd like your opinion on something as well :)

Do you think I should input the following line at the end of an auto-generated message?
This message was autogenerated by <name of program>. Need more info about me? Look <link>here</link>

Should I, or shouldn't I?

Any feedback would be great:D
