Ok, so i saw a preview for that movie where we stop the core of the earth, and i saw I-robot, and i've seen the Matrix's. What do you all think about the end of the world? my theory is that God, or a greator being of some kind is going to come back, but i don't think we are going to survive long enough. I believe that we are going to get ahead of ourselves with technology and destroy the earth. Whats all of your opionions? -Dice _______________ Dicemaster |

Out of all the possibilities of the world ending I'm gonna have to say that it will be something like a gaint space catastrophe. Like a gaint metor or some freaky anomoly that cause the world to end. I took an astronomy class last semester and I learned that theres a ton of wierd stuff out there that could easily take this sucker out. Of course it may be thousands of years away before anything major happens. If not that then probably some giant nuclear disaster. Think of how cool a post-apocolyptic world would be. We could all wear tire armor and have suped up cars just like in the Road Warrior. I don't agree with the whole 2012 thing. They said 2000 would be the end of the world, then they said there was a mistake between our time and god's time, so 2001 would be the end. Obviously its not the end. I don't believe that we will know when God (or whatever higher being you believe in) is planning on returning. I think it will be a shock and only true-believes in a "higher being" will be ready. also, in my opionion it doesn't matter what you call that higher being, we all believe in the same thing, some call him god, others alaha(Sp?) i think it doesn't truely matter. Someone swearing isn't anymore likely to go on a killing spree than someone who doesn't. And someone seeing a nipple isn't gonna break any society down. Ever. I'm with Kenyon. Also if God is "All Forgiving" then couldn't he just let non beleivers die instead of suffer eternally? Not just saying the word, but all of the material that follows the saying of the said word. Something this simple brings other language and other actions which could be shown to be a root,(not thee root) of moral and social breakdown which is experienced in our very own communities today.
