To bad that isn't made to set japlus options.  But if you looked at the file and change the max rate, max ping and min ping etc to what it says in this file, it may just help.  This comment was edited by Setementor on Aug 21 2004 09:32am. |

If you downloaded the binaries, put the jampDed.exe into gamedata. Create a shortcut to jampDed.exe and place it maybe on the desktop? Then right click on properties and add the following to the end of where it says "Target": +set fs_game japlus +exec server.cfg Basically, just change "+set fs_game reload" to "+set fs_game japlus" and change "+exec reloaded.cfg" to "+exec server.cfg". This should work. I think it was trying to load reloaded.cfg which doesn't exist.  Sorry, I forgot. This should work. Be sure to edit server.cfg which can be found in the japlus folder (gamedata/japlus/server.cfg). Good Luck. |

There is a few things about JAR that bug me, but there is ALOT more about JA+ that bug me  . JA+ just drives me nuts. I watch hit after hit get robbed from me by the autoblocking system. And the hit detection is completely whack. Then there is the admin functions....And if you feel the need to make up for your terribly small <censored>, seek professional help, don't grip-kick. |

Simple, follow Orions tutorial. When you come to the part about writing "+set fs_game reload" - change this to "+set fs_game japlus". Gradius, I couldn't create a dedicated server when I set that option until I opened some ports. I am on a router, thats the reason. If your on a router, check out amidala's posts. Although this is the wrong forum to post this in (belongs in Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy forum), all you need to do it go to advanced options when setting up a game, and click dedicated server until it says "Internet." You may also want to add spaces and symbols to the beginning of the name to make it appear higher on the list. _______________ - Proud padawan of Kueller. - We really are at the beginning of it all.
