As of tonight I'm leaving the academy.
It was fun while it lasted, but it seems that you can never self defend yourself. I wanted to rise in ranks, but too many jerks have apparently made me self defend too much and Zero is on his way to report. Goodbye Ruuk, Deallean, Yonderboy, and the others who were nice to me. I wanted to become good friends and take classes and laugh and be happy, but I guess that just isn't going to happen here. Au revoir, Sayanora, and goodbye. *end transmission* |

Hey Eris don't let this drive you away.
I saw what was going on and I know you put up with a lot before you took action. By the time Zero got there you had been pushed passed your boiling point. I understand your reaction, but it is best to ignore the disrespectful few we have here. The individual in question had been kicked the previous evening for the same kind of behavior. It seems this person does not understand the meaning of respect. He gets his kicks by using mind trick to cut in on duels, seems to be fond of det packs, and always seems to be ruining other peoples fun. People like this are best left alone. Trust that he is being carefully watched and his actions noted. I am of the philosophy that if you give a person such as this enough rope they will hang themselves. People that have little respect for others tend not to be here very long. So do your best to turn the other cheek. Hold true respect for all others and you'll go along way. Eris, get on back here.  And thanks for admitting you were wrong (ALTHOUGH YOU SHOULD NOT THINK I'M CONDONING THE OTHER PERSON'S ACTIONS). I'm sorry to hear what's been happening to you. Screen shots, indeed, are the way to go. And contact JAC's, JAT's, or JAK's that are either in the temple at the time, or get on irc and wave a flag. From what I understand, once you say something... <hee hee>... all HELL breaks loose and Knights start coming out of the woodwork. I've personally witnessed some of the punishment they've inflicted, and it gets the point across.
If you're having problems and I'm online with you, let me know and I'll help call the cavalry.

I think it would be great if you came back Eris. The problems you had the other night were understandable and I'm glad you've decided to take screen shots rather than fight back. Screen shots will get more done than fighting back. Basically what happened was that some guy has
been getting on the past 2 nights with "fire" in his name and has been a real freakin' jerk. Every time he did this, I went a little... Off the edge, accorind to rules. I fought back. Then I was told that self defense was illegal, that's when I started to get really mad and stopped thinking.. I know what I've done the past 2 nights was against the rules, but now I will play by them. I'll try to bind the screenshot command to something. I'll be back if you guys want me to. Cheers. |
