My main style is Duel Blades, I am new To the JA.net but i think i can share some knowledge on this subject.
Attack: i find the best attack for duels is a patient one, stand still and move slow, let him predict where your going then as they release a heavy attack on you quickly dodge and counter with an Up swipe from your single blade(or if slow doing this simply attack with your duels) the single blade up swipe is a devastating attack but leaves you open for attacks so not a good idea in groups. Defense: Defensively The Duels blades are excellent, Holding back and Crouch will Block most attacks but it will make you slow(obviously). Fighting groups with duels is a bit different to fighting 1v1, the concept is still the same but don't just jump in at any old given time, be patient and wait for the right moment to pick one off from the edge, you defo want to avoid using flurries as they take to long and you can get picked off really fast. I hope this helps some people. Kerris This comment was edited by Kerris on Aug 23 2008 01:00am. |

One thing you can do with dual lightsabers if you need to is find a high object (like a pole or box) and get on top, crouch down and wait for them to jump up, when they do activate katana (forward + crouch + attack 1). if done right it should get some health of them with limited damage to you, it also works best if you get an object with small area so they cant get on beside you out of range. _______________ Peace is a lie, there is only passion. I noticed one day that the dual sabers are a defensive/offensive weapon. The best offense for this style is a good defence. Never ever run at your opponant wait for him to attack you. You'll weave side to side blocking his attacks at the same time landing hit after it on his back and side. And if he does go behind you the back swipe can be extremely deadly. _______________ The invisible Jedi |
