Greetings. I hope you enjoy your time on the server. If you're having problems connecting check our FAQ page on how to connect ot a server:

I have a zip file of the huge amount of skins on the server at: http://academy.jediknightii.net/files/djs_server_pack.zip The server pack is over 220M right now, so I'll probably break it up into smaller zip files at a later point. I update the server pack as often as I can. If you have any questions other than the ones above feel free to post em and I or one of the other Academy members will help you. Yo Dar, get broadband if you need it. If you need to free up the phoneline, need it for any kind of work, or like to d/l music broadband is a good idea. If you're getting it for just JK2, and you don't play it 24/7, I wouldn't get it for just a game. (that is, unless you're rich ) |

I need comments from all of ya. I have a present common dialup connection, which charges 1.0 cent a minute everytime I log into the internet. Now, there's this broadband service and they offer the same price as present like what I am using except I get parmanent 60 ringgit on my bill everytime. I am using a common internet connection. I get 31,200 bps everytime, but loading any website isn't a problem. It loads quite fast and ok.
It's not about ping on server whatever. I get 600 ping and 400 ping now... I can't join that day because my ping was 700 and the max was 500. In no way I can join and play nicely if I have that sort of ping. I play at cyber cafes instead.. but well.. wanna stick with the academy. How can I lower my ping?? |

The 600-900 pings thing has been fixed. Let me know if it shows up again.

I know why the kicking is going on....it's pings over i think 600-900...thats why. and if any way one is still getting mad about what i said...then come find me on the JA on that srvrer...ill tell everything thing.
P.S. and for that person that was there with me...i dont swing that bad!!!! =) |

Sorry if I am interrupting your conversation, and I am sorry to hear about the kicking and stuff.. I saw the server at 7 people out of 10, I didn't know u guys were having a bad time. I am sorry.
BUT I really need help HERE! How can I improve my ping? I get about 600-800 ping, and can't access the academy server... bad luck has befallen upon me |

sorry about this...let me say...im the route of all of this hell.
i came in 1 min when someone wanted to have a Troopers, Jedis, and Siths, fighting against each other as a team FFA. troopers and jedis were doing there stuff with the Sith just as everything when as plan...until a clan group called [Jedis] where going against everyone. now you maybe wandering where i come in but let me say this...I DIDN'T TO THIS LIKE I WANTED TO...my team mate of the [Jedis] clan was killing my troopers and i told him stuff about the he was a Darksider, he kind thought the RPG was going on so he took it the wrong way and said i was the one who started the this and he made this WAR going on...so it was your EP II moive going on and i did kill him (knowing that was not good for my morals as a Jedi) but he got more angry abd started to yell at ppl to kill each other and fight me too. Like TC-Jedi Acid when against his troopers and me after some time but everyone was getting killed. ones Yun came on...ppl would not even lisien to him cuz if the hell everyone was going on. after the RPG was done ppl were still killing each other for know whatever thing they want to do. i know some ppl that all ready came up and say whatever there problems were. I'm coming up clean saying it was all my failt becuase of a person i know going aaginst me and using other people to kill each other like a virus. i don't konw if im bad luck but im not the big problem but this time it was all myfualt by someones misthoughts. I HOPE KNOE ONE TAKES THIS THE BAD WAY TO ME...IT WAS ALL MIS THOUGHTS AND A CLAN GUY THINKGING IT WAS A RPG GOING ON. BTY...YUN i didn't konw what i needed to do...so dont yell at me. plus the LAG was getting to the point of not able to fight sabers with each other. |

Well if I may defend myself, a couple of others will back me up as well. There is more to your kicking than a simple bicker. You two were whining about a simple kick that one of you gave to the other. Of course retaliation was involved and thus led to full argument and insults of the such. After multiple warnings and constant "be quiets" and "shut ups" I took my place and kicked. Both of you needed to cool off. I don't regret my kicks and felt they were well deserved. If you feel this was an abuse of power I feel sorry for you but know that I was given this rank because of maturity to handle it. Hopefully you will learn from this experience.

The day of July Fifth, 2002 is possibly The Jedi Academy's worst day EVER.
Fights. Rule breaking. Arguing. Insults (except for the Insult Sword fighting was just for fun). Kicking for no reason. Role Playing class being sort of a disaster at first.. MAN! And, if I am banned from the Jedi Acadeny Server, I'm... going.. to go... nuts. Now people.. (including higher leveled Jedi Academy people) PLEASE stop rule breaking and things. Well said. Yes we JAL's can't be there all the time and we shouldn't have to be. This place is run on respect and as a student or teacher you should respect each other despite rank or such. Just a reminder to all my fellow students, PLEASE try to show some maturity when playing!
Tonight got REALLY bad on the server, people firing off weapons inside the academy, people picking fights and others returning the favor, mass profanity, and a LOT of childish behavior. It was an absolute MESS until Lightning [JAL] came in and broke it up. It's not hard to show others a little common courtesy, let's try to remember that in the future. Tonight was worse than any public server I've been to, and that's not what this place is about. When everything settled down we had some really nice duels and team fights, and personally, I find that much more fun than having to defend myself from people just running around killing whoever they please. _______________ http://steamcommunity.com/id/citizen059 |

PEOPLE, USE THE OTHER 2 SERVERS, YOU MAY PING WELL. Those people put a lot into making those servers as well, and I think we should use them more often. They dedicated an expensive computer for us to play on, SO USE IT!!!

Why is autodownloading turned off on this server? I can't join anymore because I don't have a needed file, and I can't find the file anywhere. It's that stupid vader saber file. |

The server shouldnt be pingable from your computer.. ICMP is trashed at my router. Ive not used the all seeing eye before. Have you tried connecting from the JK2 console?
As for the rules... These servers are meant as a place to learn. If you want to own ppl go somewhere else. The rules were created becasue classes were getting interrupted by ppl going into the training sessions with rockets blazing and the like. If you think you're bieng treated unfairly by a student, teacher, or staff member please send me an email. My door is always open. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |
