Jan .. When your in join game screen in multiplayer mode click "add to favorites" ..here you enter IP/host name of the server. After the entry is added to your favorites list click on the server, then click Password. Enter the server password. Make sure you have downloads turned on in your options.

start the game, choose join server, click new favorite, type in the ip, set your source to favorites and you should be fine (don't forget to type the password)
