Custom files, being .pk3 files you've put in. Make sure you leave all of the assets*.pk3 files in, or your game won't work. Leave .dlls and .cfg files in there too. |

Are there any other files in your base folder that could be causing this error? Often, errors you get with one file, tend to be caused by another file. You could try moving other custom files out of your base directory temporarily, just to see if it fixes the problem. |

Did you extract that file I linked to before to your Program Files/Lucasarts/Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy/Gamedata/base directory before trying to connect? |

The NPC room is a specific training area in the official Jedi Academy map. It is a room with some buttons to spawn several Non-Player Characters to practice against. The map can be found here. For instructions on connecting to the Academy's servers, go here. The Holocron may be useful to you.
