Usually, before taking on a padawan, people like to know them pretty well. You would be best off being patient, or you'll be less likely to get a master. As long as you are active around the academy, playing on the servers, posting on the forums, maybe even chatting on IRC occasionally and maintaining a respectful attitude, you'll have the chance to get involved, to participate and get to know people well. The more patience you have, the more likely you'll be to get a master.  Meanwhile, there are still many ways you can still learn. There are many classes covering a whole range of different subjects, there is the holocron full of articles and information about both the Jedi Knight series and the academy itself, there are several servers you can train on, and also, there are the forums and IRC for you to chat, read and even ask questions on. Remember, don't feel you have to have a master, it is definately not something you have to do to be able to learn, and it wouldn't be possible for the Jedi Academy Staff to take on every single student and train them personally. The only real reasons a master is needed is if you don't feel you are getting enough from classes, the holocron, general training on the servers and the forums, or if you are just unable to make most classes. Okay, now that's out of the way, you asked how you become a knight - that is something you really shouldn't worry about. There is already an FAQ which should answer your question here, but like I said, you really shouldn't worry about your rank - ranks are not the big thing in the academy, learning is. |
