yeah, i like the idea about that. actually i dont wanna get actively involved (means i dont want to be a moderator) i would like to give you guys some tips how i think it would work fine. so if you really want to, just tell me what you're planing and i will comment 
about that 5 pages thing: i really found it! but it has two bad things. first it isnt finished as it turrned out too time eating. it's maybe 15% done. second it is in bb2-forum style. means i edited the word document to post it in a bb2 forum (remeber it was for LAMM) so it looks pretty weird without. i can send it to ya though and work over it. i'm not too happy with it, its too long and slow. but oh well, guess better than nothing _______________ Aeth S'kray *June 2002 +September 2003 |

Hey, it's an evolutionary thing. I'm not exactly sure how it's gonna turn out, so I'm open to anything. Just would like something that I can *read* and study. From my perspective, threads are nice, but it's be great to have something compressed and organized for easy swallowing and digesting in a short amount of time. Go to it, read it, practice it, without a lot of time wading through. Comments by others on specific issues in those organized areas would be very helpful because they would naturally expand the knowledge base.
Thanks. I think we're all on to something here, and if we push for it and find volunteers, we're golden. Can you say, group project?

MoS - I'm going to be absent for a few days... brother's wedding... from Tuesday - Saturday. I'm hoping you could remain in touch with Jake to keep this idea we've discussed rolling. I've mentioned to DJ about it on his profile, and have asked him to read what we've posted in Jake's original thread, and get back to me.
Since I'm going to be gone, could you answer his -and others' - questions and be the point man on this till I get back? I think you see where I'm/we're coming from with it (JA Bible, Compendium, Knowledge-Base...whatever we call it) and I don't want it to die this week. 
I may have people posting on my profile (namely DJ), so if you could check there in addition to the forums, that would be great. If you can't do this (you may have your reasons) pass this task on to Jake, willya? I've just known you longer, and thought of you first. EXT...that's what I have. Yeah, the trigger stinks as compared to the shockers, etc.
Gun seems to be reliable (definitely as compared to those cockers! sheesh!!!). But I don't have it right now anyway. Brother borrowed it, and... vaporized into thin air. Nah, just kiddin. Wish I had a little better access and money. Oh, and time. I gotta work, take GIS classes, and then play this game. Oh yeah, and spend time with my girlfriend. I'd have to say that my gf is so great that I'd give up paintball for her. (Hey, I've already been married before... I know how much better this woman is!) I'm not afraid of getting hit, so I usually volunteer to go for the flag. Even if that means gun-less. Looking forward to getting back into it eventually. Paintball: coincidentally, I have a Pirahna co2 as well. The, um, hmm... xlt? Long barrel. Blue/black/silver splash. Looks good, doesn't work worth sh*t in a tourney. I always borrow someones shocker. Never used an impulse, but hear they're good. Been playing off and on since...hmmm...1991? Started with a Tippman (like everyone else). Haven't been playing *****NEARLY***** as much as I'd like to because it costs a pretty penny, and, well... Let's just say I'm divorced now, and finally have control of my own finances again. Really hope to get back into it when I start making some real money. (Taking GIS classes right now... painting houses for a living till I find a "real" job.) Man, I love playing paintball. The adrenaline rush is the closest thing to having sex than...well, uh, right. Anyway, when you're back is turned, barrel on the 55 gal drum, and the ref calls "15 seconds"...***MAN WHAT A RUSH***! That's just about enough to make me cry right now. <walks away and slumps in a corner, trigger finger twitching, cursing like a banshee b/c his goggle are fogged up, then suddenly screams "I LOVE THE SMELL OF NAPALM IN THE MORNING!"> -rh _______________ Back from the dead... |

You said you wanted all details about the comp freezing, well, here it is: STARTED: -randomly -no soft/hardware changes, no new pk3s or anything WHEN: -when someone used saber throw the comp froze -in window mode i could "save" the comp and shutting JK2 with ctrl+alt+del down but no other games worked after the crash (!!) -retarting JK2 made everything work veeery slow, unable to move the mouse properly in the main menu SYSTEM: -500 Mhz, Slot Athlon -Asus AGP V3800 Ultra Deluxe (TNT2 Ultra) -Gigabyte GA7IX (AMD chip) -256 PC-100 SD-RAM -13 GB harddisk -30-40 °C after hours of LAN gaming

Heya. Nice to get the argumenting down to decent level (can't say I helped much on that, but anyways).
As a matter of fact, I just learned the 'rdfa' (still laughing at the acronyms of swings) the other day, so I might yet learn to like dueling. Who knows?
