Mass Effect is awesome, I'm just mad since I never got a chance to finish the first one. I have it on Xbox and never got a chance to beat it, now I have the sequel on PC so I don't have a chance to implant a save file even if I found the time to beat the first. I did find a website though with other people's save files. I'll probably check those out on my second play through.
Otherwise I'm having a blast with it. They really fixed a number of the issues I had with the first game. I decided to play as an adept, wanted to screw around with my enemies and play with the physics engine. Yeah the reviews to Edge of Darkness seem to be pretty positive, most have been saying that Mel steals the show. I might wait for DVD though. From Paris with Love looks pretty awesome too.

I decided to see The Book of Eli on my own just to see how it was. Yeah......besides the fact that I couldnt get into the overall premise, the ending sealed the deal on how....(trying to think of a good word for this).....stupid, I'm going to go with stupid. The twist at the end was just dumb. They tried to include some hints here and there to justify the ending but it doesnt work. So there are two major premises of the film that just flat out do not work. Also way too many action cliches. Such as a claymore mine blowing up a car and a regular grenade blowing up a car. Cars just don't blow up like that.
The action was good and fun though and the cinematography was great if not a little too grey at times. Probably the closest we will get to a Fallout movie. Some people will see no flaws with the film and enjoy it for what it is. I was kinda intrigued by The Book of Eli. When I saw the trailers I joked to my brother about what the twist might be, then I read from critics that it's the same twist I joked about. That's kinda lame.

Oh hell yeah that movie looks awesome. Saw the trailer about a year ago. I told you Zombieland would be amazing too. Also check out the trailer to a film called "The Box". I don't think the film will be amazing, I just like to pimp the fact that I was an extra in the movie. You probably wont see me though since I wasn't very close to the camera and a fat guy was standing in front of me. Still an awesome experience.
Sorry to hear about you being single as well, weren't you damn near engaged? Glad you get to have an awesome sounding vacation. I would sit here and say that I need an awesome vacation but 4 months ago I was at the virgin islands with my then GF. Oh man, I've been busy. Sorry for the late response. I just got back from Zombieland and it was perhaps the most satisfying movie I have seen in years. Serious, Woody Harrelson steals this movie. Also saw Surrogates and was bored to tears.
