Yeah Sherlock Holmes will definitely be awesome but we sadly have to wait till the winter movie season. You know if you think about, if the movie was made 5 years ago the roles would be reversed. Robert Downey Jr probably would have gotten the role as Watson and Jude Law would be Sherlock Holmes. Dude you gotta check out the Hangover. Balls out funny stuff. Also I am pumped for Transformers 2. I'm hoping that it will knock my socks off. Not really much else to look forward to this summer. I mean, Harry Potter will be great but that's a given. And then after that we are left with GI Joe which I am not really all that excited about. So I just watched Terminator and honestly I have no beef with it. I guess my only problem would be that the trailers revealed too much in the first place. Sure it was a little cheesey at times and it certainly was a different movie than the previous ones, but it was fun and I didn't cringe at all. Plus it had little nods to the franchise that I enjoyed. So I am a little worried about Terminator. Critics are not being to nice with it. Normally I don't care much about critics but it's not sounding too good. Guess I will have to see for myself on friday. If it pisses me off I'll let you know. I've seen quite a few films lately to be honest. Most were good, but I can't remember them all too much. I saw Crank 2 last night, if you liked the first then you should enjoy this one. It's pretty much a porno with guns(not an innuendo). Going to see Wolverine on friday, hopefully they haven't ruined my favorite comic character Deadpool. Yeah I agree about Daniel Craig. Both my father and my best friend (both of whom are huge bond fans) loved the new one. They felt it was even more "bond" like than the first one. I like both movies so I didn't argue.
The comedy Role Models was really great too. Paul Rudd is an awesome actor. I also ended up seeing Australia with some friends. For a 3 hour romantic drama is pretty good. Probably deserved more attention than it got in our theaters. Holy sweet zombie jesus, did you see the Punisher?
It was crazy awesome. As someone who has read a good many of the Punisher Max/Knights issues, I thought it was perfect. I actually kinda liked the Thomas Jane punisher film but this one blew it out of the water. It is crazy violent. Like Rambo 4 violent. The first 10 mins will have you spitting up popcorn and laughing the whole time.
