Assuming you're using default sizing for building brushes, I always make stairs one square high and two squares thick.
1x1 Stairs are a little too steep and you rarely see stairs that have just as much height as they do width.

Lol, yeah.
Actually, Odan-Wei created that MSN account for me, simply because he got tired of trying to talk to me with a load of other people spamming me and me not being bothered to create a new account myself. Lol. I always found your suggestion "clearly_not_virtue" hilarious and I would have gone with that if I'd done it myself.
Anyways, yeah, fire away man. During the day, I'm at work, so you can mail me at the MSN address I added you to, or you can wait until about 6-7:00pm GMT, when I get home from work, I'm usually on MSN umtil about 10pm from then.
