Hello I was trying to install debian on my PC but encountered the following problem: when i got a dialog to choose my ethernet module (I got Realtek RTL8139) I chose 8139too and later 8139cp as instruced from irc://irc.freenode.org/linuxhelp. Neither worked so (as instructed again) I did: $find /lib -name 8139\* in my RH9, and found "8139too.o" and "8139cp.o". That's WAY more than weird. May the problem be that I d/led the netinstall CD from Debian site? (I guess not) Any suggestions _______________ Your friends of today, are your enemies of tomorrow. |
