He finally made knight and I told him that he would have to make me his paddy if he ever did make it. Soooo, here I am! 2) FreeBSD is a free, open source operating system. Actually, it's UNIX. It is a project that got it's start from the Berkley version of UNIX and has developed into what we have today. It is often used as a server operating system. However, if you only dabble in Windows I wouldn't suggest you even bother with FreeBSD unless you are willing to get involved with something that might just kill you!
