Hey man! I don't know if you saw this on the Help Desk thread, I'll just cut/paste it here: My uncle was using his computer on Saturday, no problems. He went to boot it up on Sunday, and his computer doesn't boot all the way through. He brought it into the BestBuy where he bought it and when they hooked it up, it worked perfectly. When he hooked it up again at his house, same thing. He claims that his monitor doesn't get a signal and the numlock light doesn't light up on his kbd. He hasn't added anything to his system or added any other appliances to his house. Is it possible that a dying monitor could prevent a machine from booting up? I've never heard of that before. I haven't gone over there yet to see what I could do, but I figured I'd rather go there with some "ammo" to fix his problem.
