While never holding an official staff rank in the JA, Dante was massively influential to many that did; people such as Jaiko D'Kana, Luke Skywalker, Jaina D'Kana, Virtue, myself and many others - whether as a teacher, an opponent on the servers, or as a friend.
With that in mind, plus recognition that he was one of the best saber duelers to have played Jedi Knight II, it only makes sense that we honour him and his life, which was tragically taken from him, by placing his name in the Jedi Academy Hall of Fame. Dante...eric. Please come onto msn sometime, i know you need to talk to someone, it isnt easy to carry your burden and it DOES help to tlak, even if it may hurt. A friend told me once....Find the problem, then fix it. Dont run away from it eric, dont just uproot and go, becuase that doesnt fix anything.....it may feel like it, but it doesnt. It's not my place to offer any sort of commentary on ur post because i can't say i know u well or have known u for a long time. But, in all the times you'll helped me on the server and through all of my interaction with you, I can tell you are a wise and kind hearted person. Though i don't understand ur decision and some of the things u've said in your post, i will respect your choice. However this does not, in anyway, mean that alienating yourself will solve whatever problem you're facing; it solves nothing and i would be deeply disturbed if the post is the last thing i'll see from you. Regardless of everything, u'll be missed and I wish you well and hope u'll never feel the same sadness and despair ever again. That being said, if you step back and analyze whatever it is you're going through, i'm sure u can find a better resolution than to sever all ties to the people that you care about. There's got to be a better way, there has to be. U can pull through this...don't give up on yourself or others. |

Gah, i don't know what to say dante, you're the one who showed me what the game was really about in your article, what you felt like, and at times as i have as well, but when i read your story, i felt better, better about myself and more confident to take a bigger step to a brighter tomorrow. for all that you've done for me, i will never forget you. and you aren't nothing, you're something, something extremely important, someone that makes another feel better at all times, any time. but never stop believing my friend, you're a great person, and i'm feel bad that i never got to know you past a few duels and the story that changed the way i thought about things. I just want to say thanks Dante, for everything, and i mean EVERYTHING, that you could have possibly done to make a brighter future, to share your knowledge, your love, and your friendship.
