Over the past few months it has become apparent to the Jedi Academy's senior staff that the apparently tragic events that lead to countless tributes being made to Vladarion and his memory have turned out to be untrue.
With this in mind, the JA has opted to remove Vladarion from the Hall of Fame. Action in regards to the "the_academy_v3" map memorial will be taken at a later date. On behalf of all of the JA's administrative staff involved, I would like to apologise to all of those affected by the initial events which took place in 2003 and lead to the various tributes made. The JA believed all correspondence in regards to Vladarion's apparent death to be genuine and sincere. We have created a thread containing the aforementioned which can be used for discussion in regards to this matter. Keep ALL discussion of this matter on the thread in the aforementioned link. Any new threads on any section of the forums regarding this will be closed. Any posts made on this profile or anywhere else found to be in violation of the JA rules will be deleted and the poster will face official warning or closure of their site account. Flaming, disrespect, trolling or any other rule infractions will not be tolerated and dealt with accordingly. This is a delicate subject. Treat it with respect. Thank you. Hi Vlad..this is a way to speak with you even though you are in a better place..but i feel you are with us in spirit my friend.I know i kinda vanished shortly after JK:JA came out..and i hurts me cause we were becoming great friends(blames it all on his comp)..and it seems that when i returned,i was looking for you on the servers...wonderering if you was still with us at the academy..unfortunatly the ansewers to my questions were found when i got to your profile to see that you were retired..then i read on wondering to see the true ansewer. I was in complete shock as my eyes watered up from what i had seen..to see that your life was horribly taken from you.I will always remember the good times we have shared..the kind conversations we had..the awesome duels we engaged in..I know i speak for everyone here at the Academy when i say..we have lost a precious soul..One day my friend..we will see each other again...May god watch over you with his love and wisdom my friend..I will never forget you. _______________ I have returned 5/8/08 RIP Vladarion(your in my thoughts and prayers) |

Well my friend, it's been a while. They built a memorial for you on our latest map. Yes, we're at Beta3 already. I remember our very last conversation before you went off, three days before Christmas, I believe. In the bar. It's still standing, barely touched. You'll like your memorial, near a waterfall. Very quiet. It's swamped with people constantly visiting though, but everyone is there in honor of you. I bet you would want something more inconspicious bro, but it's the least we can do. You gotta echo through our Academy history. Already, new people are asking about you. New people... Ah yes, new people. Time goes on, and so does the Academy. Though I'm no Knight, I have my own two Padawans now. Wolfwood just made JAK, with more to follow. I'm hanging in there as a JAP, but it's hard to complain when you have Virtue as your master, right? Speaking of which, the old guy finally made JAC. I know how much you cared for him. He's swamped with all kinds of stuff, but the Academy is thriving. I wish you were here man. These dark months, when the temperature reaches -10 degrees, it's best for me to snuggle up my computer in the attic, and you always brought a smile to my face. ~Ken |

Number 3000 for you, my dear friend. It's not much, but it is my silent tribute to your memory. It's been one month since I heard the news, and I'm still not sure how I'm coping with the loss. I thought I was going to be okay, but then I heard that song Silk dedicated to you on the prom map. "Hear You Me" by Jimmy Eat World, not sure if you've heard it or not, but it's beautiful. That song described exactly how I was feeling and I was overcome with grief and crying for you all over again. Although you aren't with us physically, I know that you are with us all in spirit, watching over us, and I know that you are reading this now Vlad. I would like to thank you. Thank you for everything you have done for me, for this community. You were truly a gift from God to us. Always smiling, cheering us up. Never saying a single bad word. You were always thinking of others, how to make sure they were happy. You were such a caring and selfless person. I am proud to say that I knew you, Vladarion. Knowing you has made me a better person at heart. I will always remember your kind ways and will try to emulate them as best as I can. Thank you for everything you did for me during the short time you were here in the Jedi Academy. Thank you my friend, you will not be forgotten. |
