Over the past few months it has become apparent to the Jedi Academy's senior staff that the apparently tragic events that lead to countless tributes being made to Vladarion and his memory have turned out to be untrue.
With this in mind, the JA has opted to remove Vladarion from the Hall of Fame. Action in regards to the "the_academy_v3" map memorial will be taken at a later date. On behalf of all of the JA's administrative staff involved, I would like to apologise to all of those affected by the initial events which took place in 2003 and lead to the various tributes made. The JA believed all correspondence in regards to Vladarion's apparent death to be genuine and sincere. We have created a thread containing the aforementioned which can be used for discussion in regards to this matter. Keep ALL discussion of this matter on the thread in the aforementioned link. Any new threads on any section of the forums regarding this will be closed. Any posts made on this profile or anywhere else found to be in violation of the JA rules will be deleted and the poster will face official warning or closure of their site account. Flaming, disrespect, trolling or any other rule infractions will not be tolerated and dealt with accordingly. This is a delicate subject. Treat it with respect. Thank you. I recently came back to the academy and did not know of the memorial until i walked in. I read the plaque and remembered the accident that shook our community hard. i read about this website in pc gamer and there was a part about it about vlad, i did not know him but he sounded like a top bloke and an example to all of us of how to behave when playing online, and reading the letters on here really touched me you dont find many sites like this one where there seems to be a strong sence of community. |

Vlad i never knew you, or you i, but your tragic accident had a great affect on me. It makes my heart sink to read all the comments people put about you and i wish i had met you, you inspired many people and at times when my heart was shrouded i needed just that. However reading about you makes me want to be a better person, and i've never heard of anyone or met anyone who has had that affect on me. It brought many a tear to my eye when i went to pay my respects to you in the academy garden, you are dearly missed.
