I was a JAK for a long time and a JAT for a bit, and I know first hand, that in the JAK+ forums, rarely does EVERYONE agree. If people were demoted because they had different opinions, than I, for one, would have probably been demoted my first week as a JAK. But I wasn't. Having a different opinion than others is a GREAT thing in many discussions. Because sometimes people dont always see the other side of the discussion. Having a different opinion adds variety to discussions, making them more effective. They can make people THINK (more). Think, is it POSSIBLE for all JAK+ to agree? Go to the About Us page, and see all the names. Think of all the personalities. Is is POSSIBLE for them to all agree everytime? I think not.
