hehe, good thing that I understand german anyway, what I really meant was that I dont think we should start a response in such an angry way. All it does is start a war. Of course I wont refrain myself from giving my opinion and I will always stand for what I think. But I wont do it in such a harsh way anymore This isnt the first time you and I stood up like this is it _______________ -Retired april the 19th 2004 |

It's always cool to see people wishing you a great vacation, it's that magic that keeps the JA such a great place. _______________ Personal sleepness-nights-supporter of Virtue. Oh I've got more where that came from The IRC thing I just want to put behind me, really. I don't regret my decision to take an extended vacation one bit, though. It opened my eyes to parts of JKO that I had been closed-minded towards for a while. I appreciate your opinion Aeth, because you strike me as a mighty fine judge of character. Unfortunately, I don't know how many people share your opinion. Furthermore, my reputation is somewhat tarnished due to my fanaticism towards improvement. I joined the JA so I could learn and I guess people felt intimidated or 'weirded out' because I was so focused at that. I'm still focused, but I've moved on more to improving what I know than learning what I don't. Don't get me wrong, I'll never look down upon the opportunity to learn something new should it cross my path, but I won't go actively looking for it like I have for the past eight months. JAK -is- the step towards JAT, yes, and perhaps what I said before made me sound a bit too ambitious. You never know; If for some reason I am proven wrong and get nominations, perhaps I would end up satisfied with JAK. It's all about holding classes, though. I want people to learn, and I'm experienced and skilled with almost every aspect of the most popular things to learn. I would get enough attention to teach things, yes, I agree with you there. What I'm thinking about is of a grand scale, though, and I don't think holding spontaneous unscheduled classes would cut it. Last but not least to this comment... I have thought about becoming a 'ranked student,' and that's the only reason I'm here right now, because I want to make that difference. There were a few reasons I didn't end up going through with the JAK thing. Partially it was due to an incident with some JAC/JAT on IRC. Partially it was the fact that I was unjustly ganged-up upon after the fact. Partially it was the fact that I received no apologies, that -I- was the one punished for the poor behaviour of others. Also, becoming a JAK or JAT would detract from what I wanted to do most - learn, practice, refine. Any time taken away from that felt like time wasted to me. It's not the same now though; I've given up on justice for that incident in IRC pretty much and just moved on. As for the training stuff, well I've been doing just that for months and months now - All I can do now is practice. What's highest up on my agenda now is rekindling the interest in others to LEARN things about the game. I hate how so many people are content with their level of skill and don't strive to improve. Sadly, I have a nagging feeling at the back of my head all the time that people say nasty things about me when I'm not around, or think them, and generally dislike me. JAK still doesn't particularly interest me, but JAT does. What better way to get people to learn? I know you don't need a rank to teach, but those three letters get attention. Heck, I teach all the time as it is. I've taught many impromptu classes on the Home server in the last few weeks, not to mention the Dying Breed Class on the JASE server... still, they don't get the notoriety that they deserve (in my opinion). Hope that answers your question! _______________ © |
