what am i upgrading from? hahaha, a 16MB nvidia card! the only pc i have at home is a p2 450 from '98. so i'm building a new system. i'm REALLY looking forward to it. i play JA at work most the time on some gateway that has at least a 64 meg card it, not sure really. i was just looking at some performance charts the other night that showed the 9800 XT choking on some really high end tests, 4xAA, 8xAA, and big time antistropic filtering or whatever the x800 was of course kicking butt...but at $400-$500, i think i'll go with the great buy on the 9800 Pro for sub $200 _______________ this is the internet, be serious damn it! |
