To reply to everyone. I don't claim to know everything about my style I just claim that teaching me isnt ganna advance me much. What I need at this point is just more pratice. Although If i am doing something wrong (bad attack ect.) I'd apreciate being told how to correct it. As far as the whole knight thing goes on being an attitude and such. I'm on par with that. I'm always ready to help and such so if theres something I can do let me know. |

Odan and Achilles said probably everything about your view of knighthood, so I won't add anything (they're both right, JAK is not just a dry "rank" it's something deeper). What I'll add it advice: As I can see you have JUST come to the JA. You should hang out on IRC and on the servers and get to meet people. That way you'll meet JAKs and JATs. That way they'll get to know you. That way (lol   ) you'll have a chance of becoming their padawan. You know no-one in here takes random ppl they don't know as their padawan.Follow my advice and you'll understand in the future why I suggest such things to you. Knighthood isn't just given to people, they have to earn it, now I've been here for months, seen the knights come and go, and believe me, they all deserved it, so, wait around, make friends, and most importantly, be yourself!  _______________ Padawan to the great Katan JA Brother to D@RTHM@ULR.I.P. Hi DarthChewy, First of all, welcome to the JA I think you're mistaken: no ones gets the knight rank without deserving it. Besides, it's not a rank you just get for being skilled. Knighthood is much more than that. In here, knighthood is considered to be the reflexion of your skills, behavior (being nice, eager to help and teach and learn, and also humble) and general involvement in the Academy. If you seek knighthood just for the rank, forget it, you'll probably never make it and also you're missing the point of the whole Academy. We're a school and no one, not even the teachers, may pretend they know everything about a particular style.
