You shouldn't be using a gif for anything with lots of colors in it unless you really need transparency. Gifs save a color pallete of no more than 256 colors along with the picture data. This rather limited color palette is what causes many gifs with lots of colors in them to look like crap. If you want to use a gif and lots of colors you'll need to play with your color levels and palettes in photoshop before exporting. Keep in mind that 256 colors will make a big image. If you can stick to 64 or under colors. If you're not using transparency, most profile pics will do fine as a jpeg. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

Use Photoshop's "Save for web" function. When saving as a JPEG remember you don't need anything over 50% quality. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

My original file size limit was 15k. Man people complained about that. I'm not raising the limit. 30k is very generous for a 250x250 picture. Learn how to optimize your images. My images have all been around 10-15k. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

When you first load it up, it'll show you a small guide to do everything Oh and btw, when you first start it up, it'll ask: Mozilla is currently not the default browser.
