A world pass is basically a code you buy (with gil) and give to a friend in order for him/her to get on your server. When you created your character, it should have given you the option to choose you server, didn't it? My server is "Bahamut". If you didn't get that option, let me know and I'll get you a pass. _______________ Luke Skywalker |

All regions share the same servers. There is nothing different about each server, they're just there to accomodate the huge number of players.
I'm on the Bahamut server, I think they changed things so you can choose your server when you create a character. Back then you were placed randomly. EDIT: Oh, and bouncing between servers isn't really possible either. I mean, it technically is, but you have to pay RL money to do so. So.. your server is basically your home for a long time. _______________ Luke Skywalker This comment was edited by Luke Skywalker on Dec 04 2007 11:57pm. |

I don't think a full package is available for PC yet, but here's what's available right now.
http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/intro/shop.html EDIT: There's a PC package with the older expansions, but you'd have to get the newest one seperately. (All systems play on the same servers, btw) _______________ Luke Skywalker This comment was edited by Luke Skywalker on Nov 25 2007 11:11pm. |

Sorry for the late reply bro, been away down in Devonland since just before our birthday.
Nothing wrong with that, i did a third year at college too It was actually great fun, kinda amusing when people realise how old you are. What are you studying/hoping to do at uni? Ah yes the endless struggle, I still fail to find the balance myself I must admit. Just when you get one thing right something else goes wrong! Understandable, sometimes I find it hard to get on here with all the other things going on. I'm at Kingston in Surrey/South London. Its good, and the course is excellent (Creative writing and film) although the halls management leaves something to be desired, lot of faults. Happy belated birthday! Just to further solidify your decision (or weaken), here is a video I just dug up from a LOOOONG time ago. This is of me and the guild I used to lead called KnightsOfAzureSky.
I'm the character "Aretumis", you won't see me during the fight, I'm on the other side of the creature holding its attention, Lol. Paladin pride! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BN7TVgmSpXc _______________ Luke Skywalker |

That would be the Paladin, my primary job. Best with a sword and shield, used primarily as a tank (possesses the highest defense). Has healing abilities that can be used on yourself or others.
These are screenshots of my Lv75 one. http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l165/brokenswordx/hair.jpg A signature I made using the same ingame appearance. The one to the right is the Corsair I'm hoping to become soon, Lol. http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l165/brokenswordx/Aret.jpg This one I photoshopped for fun, but again, it's still what he looks like, along with my friend's Warrior to the left. http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l165/brokenswordx/ownt.jpg _______________ Luke Skywalker This comment was edited by Luke Skywalker on Sep 26 2007 02:23am. |

In order for parties to gain exp, every member needs to be close in level. As for how difficult it is to get a party, it's dependant on job and what's needed. You could form a party yourself, or you could put your "flag" up and you'll appear in a list for people who are creating one to see.
It's usually some of the damage dealing jobs that have the most difficulty, considering there are so many different kinds of them. If you aren't lazy though, you could form the parties yourself. It actually can be tougher to find a party at the later levels, not so much early on. A typical party consists of: a tank (the one who holds the monster's attention and takes damage), a healer, a support, and three damage dealers. There are exceptions based on situation, but that's how it'll usually be. I forgot to mention support jobs. If your main job is say White Mage and you level it to 60, you can have a support job that will be half the level of your main. You have to level the job you want to be your support first, but it would look something like White Mage Lv60/Black Mage Lv30. You'd have all the abilities of the BLM up to that level as well as a stat boost. Fully leveled support jobs are a necessity. If you have your eye on a particular job, ask about it and I'll give the typical role and capabilities. _______________ Luke Skywalker |

I'll give ya the pros and cons, certainly.
Pros -HUGE world, constantly updated and new content is frequent. Not to mention SquareEnix is constantly making sure everything is balanced. -Only one character truly necessary. You can switch your class (called "jobs" in FF) simply by going to your residence. Only deal is, if you're a Lv75 Warrior and you switch to Monk, it'll be back at Lv1. But you can switch back to Warrior and be 75 again. Jobs are: Warrior, Monk, White Mage, Black Mage, Red Mage, Blue Mage, Thief, Paladin (me!), Dark Knight, Ranger, Beastmaster, Bard, Samurai, Ninja, Summoner, Corsair, Puppetmaster, Dragoon -Tons of equipment, each with a unique look on your character. Five races to choose from and a decent number of facial appearances in each. -Plenty of endgame. Even when you hit Lv75, there will be plenty to do. Tons of missions, even more quests. (the game's fourth expansion is coming out soon) -HIGHLY promotes a structured party or alliance to succeed. Teamwork is a MAJOR aspect of the game, which is fantastic, but also has its downside.. I'll get to that. Cons -Parties are basically required in order to obtain exp at a certain point. (Lv10 roughly, depending on the job) With that said, some people aren't the brightest crayons in the box, and thus you are forced to deal with those people sometimes. -BECAUSE exp is often so party reliant, you may find yourself (again, depending on job) standing in town searching for a party frequently. -Time consuming, you ought to have a few solid hours to play in order to be able to get somewhere. 10 minutes here and there just won't cut it. -Can be difficult to earn cash at times. It's a player-run economy. If I think of anything else, I'll update that. _______________ Luke Skywalker |

I'm going to leave this here for you and probably email you as well. I can breed you an egg to see if the chances are going to be female or male combee or I can hatch eggs until I get one. I currently use a vespiquen in my party right now and she's pretty awesome (in the Diamond game). Yeah, if you can score me a Munchlax (preferably female) I'll definitely do a trade with you for the female combee. Let me know what you think!
What email do you check by the way? I'm at rjb719@neo.rr.com, if you send me an email, just put in the Subject line, "Hey, it's Mic from the JA" so I don't think you're spam . I added you to my MSN, I could actually use your help when you get a sec. In Diamond and Pearl there are those honey trees and I've been trying hard to find a Munchlax. Any chance you have a female Munchlax or Snorlax you could try and breed me a female Munchlax out of? I have quite a few out of Diamond that are tougher to get that we could maybe trade up with. Hit me on IM today, I'm home pretty much all day...
